I'm Sadie, a birth and postpartum doula based in the Wairarapa. I'm a mother of three beautiful children, a wife, a runner and a lover of all good things!
After having a truly healing home birth experience with my third child, I wanted every birthing woman to have an empowered, joyful and healing experience too. It was then that I realised I had the passion, knowledge and skills to make that happen. So, I became a doula!

WHAT IS IT THAT WE DO?
A birth doula is a trained professional providing continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a mother (and her birth partner) before, during and shortly after childbirth.
Birth and postpartum Doula
A postpartum doula provides support to you and your family as you recover from birth emotionally and physically, breastfeeding support, newborn care and light household duties including meal preparation. Choosing to partner with a birth or postpartum doula is a very professional choice, so feel free to book a free 30 minute session to ask questions, understand the role of the doula, and get to know me a little better.
